Would you like a Zamunda Cream Ale with your Big Mick?

South Jersey fans of “Coming to America” and its recently released sequel “Coming to America 2” were in for a unique treat this past April. The plaid-clad replica of the movie’s fictitious fast food joint, McDowell’s, arrived at the Cherry Hill Mall as a pop-up restaurant on April 16th and remained docked there until April 26th. The creators of this immersive experiencer went above and beyond, brewing two new beers specifically for the event.

Enter Pro-Motion Industries: Priding ourselves on excellent customer service and quick turnaround, our team collaborated with Cherry Hill’s own Forgotten Boardwalk Brewing to shrink sleeve the cans in record time! Shrink sleeving, a heat adhered label that offers vibrant 360-degree coverage, is popular among craft brewers and is a great, cost effective alternative to printed cans for low volume orders. With only four weeks to design, brew, and decorate the exclusive beers, speedy production was integral to the success of this event.

With Pro-Motion cranking out the sleeved cans in just a day, the pop-up restaurant kicked off without a hitch! McDowell’s featured an outdoor beer garden debuting “Soul Glo” Hazy IPA and “Queen to be” Zamunda Cream Ale. Served alongside cuisine pulled directly from the movie, McDowell’s menu advertised the Big Mick (two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese pickles and onions, and NO sesame seeds), Zamunda fries and of course their newest item, the Sexual Chocolate Milkshake.
